Absolutely disgusting customer service to say the least!!! At table of 24 was booked in on Saturday 1st feb at 5.45pm. From 11am to 1.15pm I rang constantly to speak to someone to see what time I was able to call down to drop off balloons, banners and a cake for a surprise 18th birthday meal for my son!! I was greeted on the other end of the phone by a lady saying I'm in the process of ringing everyone booked in this evening! There has been a gas leak and we have been closed since Monday 27th Jan. We were hoping to be open today but that's not the case. My jaw hit the floor. I asked the lady why wasn't I informed of this sooner as I had booked this weeks and weeks in advance to make sure they could accommodate us as there was a large group, where would I find somewhere to accommodate 24 people 4.5hrs before we were supposed to arrive!! I asked about the swansea branch to be told they couldn't accommodate us as we were a large party. If I hadn't of rang constantly and the lady picked up when she did, I don't know what time I would of been contacted to cancel my booking as she said that large group bookings don't take priority she was working her way through an alphabetical system to inform customers even though large group bookings have to book weeks and weeks in advance!! I understand unforseen circumstances happen and they happen at short notice but to be closed 5days before with no correspondence to your customers of such a large group to maybe find an alternative booking as you couldn't guarantee you would be open!! Don't you think as common curiosity to your customers even 24hrs before hand you should of informed them of the problem and not cancel them at the very last minute 😡 Absolutely ruined all celebrations for my son's 18th birthday!!!! I for one will never recommend or bring any of my custom to Cattle & Co again!!

Table booked for 1:15pm, travelled 25 miles to arrive and find a notice on the door to say closed due to gas leak. Wasted journey as a result of no communication. Dissapointed we recieved no email, telephone call or a text message. No excuses in this day and age.

I was pretty dubious about our visit, given some of the TripAdvisor reviews, even warning our fellow guests to wrap up warm! I'm not sure why there have been so many bad reviews this last year, I can only say that we didn't experience any of the issues that have been described by others. First off- having worn several layers, I didn't need them! It was really toasty in the building, especially given that it wasn't heaving with people and it's an old building- people need to bare in mind that they're draughty (and need to be) and hard to heat. Especially industrial buildings with large open spaces. We had a friendly welcome on arrival, and our waitress was friendly and happy, sharing her thoughts on some of the menu options. We asked for a taster of a wine (I'm a fussy bu&&er!) which was very generous, and a really good wine for a good ("out") price. We ordered our food and it arrived in super quick time. Everything was perfect and absolutely beautiful. Because I like a little of everything and my husband is a human dustbin, we opted for the 4 banging buns- oh my goodness! Every meat was tender, juicy, flavoursome. The fries (usually my favourite bit) took a very back stage (although perfect-crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside!) to the mouth-watering burgers. The coleslaw- usually a bit meh, when you have it out- was tasty, with enough pepper to make it register. Our friends had the smoked brisket and the buttermilk chicken. Their meals were a good size, especially for the price, and they really enjoyed them. Given that you could spend more in a pub chain, on mass produced and ultra processed food, and have less on your plate, Cattle and Co have earned a place in my "go-to" local food joints. Their prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get- both quality and quantity. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was to die for. Staff were all friendly and happy. Didn't have to wait for long for the food to be served either. All in all it's a 10 out of 10. I WILL be going back.

Very odd behaviour from what seems a bunch of amatuers. We booked for 7, realised we would be late so called well in advance to rearrange for 7:30. Were told it had been rearranged but that on the initial call they were supposed to take our number to send a text to take a £10 deposit. Bit weird, but fine. Text message never came, assumed it was them being unorganised as they didn't take a number on the initial call. Arrived at 7:30 to be asked if we received a text, when I said no, the girl went and spoke to her manager and then came back to say the kitchen was closed and they couldn't serve us. The place shuts at 11 and you can see the kitchen from outside and they were all still working. They did us a favour in the end as we were sceptical about the place after arriving and seeing a notice about how they use GMO foods. Maybe we smell, maybe they didn't lile the cut of our jib, but I think in reality it's a poorly run restuarant selling poor quality food.

One entrance looks like the restaurants closed and not welcoming at all. We were stuck for options on a Sunday evening and probably wouldn’t have stayed if more options locally. Staff ok but all seem a bit preoccupied and not overly welcoming or friendly. Someone mentioned massive portions- I totally disagree. £20 for the ribs and chicken, although ribs were cooked so falling off the bone there was maybe 5 in the small baby ribs. A massive portion of cold chips, small amount of coleslaw and the £5.50 mac n cheese (which was good) was tiny. Husbands brisket burger did look good but again all the chip portions massive and cold. Nobody needs to eat that much potato.

Really nice food The place was absolutely freezing. Believe me it was the coldest place I have ever eaten. No fire or heating on in the place. Unbelievable.

Food was lovely 😍 but they really need to get some heating in there. Everyone was wearing there coats having food as it was that cold 🥶 not enjoyable when trying to have a nice meal really let's the place down .

I absolutely LOVE Cattle & Co. I come with friends and the atmosphere and stuff are amazing (Jorja) You're amazing and thank you for everything you do. The food, oh my goodness 🤤 the stack burger with 9 patty's is amazing I absolutely love Sweet potato fries at the moment and Cattle & Co know how to do them best, so, so nice I tried something new last week on the menu but can't remember the name sorry. Chicken stripes with Mac & cheese and maple syrup and OH MY I highly recommend it. The flavours go so well together but Its really filling. The Mac & cheese balls are lush Cattle & Co does my favourite cider (Cold River) They were even friendly with my friends gidedog The only thing is that I'd say is that the music can sometimes be a bit loud. Food 10/10 Cider 10/10 Service 10/10 Price 10/10 Everything 10/10 as always Thank you Jorja and Cattle & Co for amazing nights. I love coming back and I'll definitely be back

I visited this place about a year ago, and I feel like I need to share my experience to help others. If you care about getting good service, you should definitely avoid this spot. We were informed about a discount on sides, which we were excited to take advantage of (honestly, if it wasn't a deal, we wouldn't have paid extra for them). But when we got the bill, the discount wasn't applied, and we ended up being charged more. I asked the nice waitress who helped us, and she tried to reprint the receipt to see if it was an error. After checking with someone else, we found out that the discount we were promised didn’t actually exist, so we were overcharged. Whether it was a mistake or not, I wouldn't suggest coming here.

The meals here are large and are good quality. The steak is great. Some of the menu items are a challenge like the 9 Pattie burger!! Reasonable prices. Some of the seating is a little uncomfortable (metal chairs no padding) if you are going to be there for the evening you may want to think of this. LOTS of the menu is smoked so if you don't like smoked food you will be limited to what you can choose. Good amount of free parking and a very short walk to the beach. I would recommend a visit.

Went here with a friend midweek, not as lively as the Cattle & Co in Swansea. The food was very disappointing compared to Swansea. The service was slow and quite shocking. All in all a bad experience, I was expecting the same hospitality and experience as Cattle & Co Swansea, but it fell off by a big margine.

Went early evening, staff were polite and courteous. Food and drinks came promptly, I had the mexican burger which was quite tasty, steaks were decent although unseasoned which would have been better. Good choice on the menu but book for a quieter time if possible, have been here in the past at very busy periods and you can expect a wait especially if in a large group. Would go back and try something different, price point is on the higher side for the area but a decent meal and they have offers frequently.

This is most probably the best American smoked meat I’ve had in the UK, I wish I had one closer to home! My partner is gluten free and I loved the care they showed her - really good gluten free specific menu and it was all absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

First time at the Cattle and Co, great venue and building. Food was amazing, lots of it, maybe a little too much, but well prepared and very tasty. But, the best part, the staff member at the door. My wife was struggling with a bad back, she noticed as soon as we walked in, showed us to our table, and promptly came back with a small pillow. Then later in the night she was looking over and asked in my wife was ok. As we left she was still concerned for my wife. Such a wonderful attention to your customers, never experienced this before, bravo. We attended on Saturday 19th October at 19:30, who ever she was, was a fine example of above and beyond customer service and attention. We thank you.
